Welcome to MARSMALL: A Newsroom for the Age of Exploration
Why we are building an independent space publication — and why we want you to write for it.
Every generation gets one great frontier. Ours is not a distant ocean or an unmapped continent. It is the sky above us — and, for the first time, we are not exploring it alone. Artificial intelligence is becoming a partner in how we design rockets, read telescope data, plan missions and imagine what comes after.
MARSMALL exists to report on that journey with curiosity and honesty. We will publish news and analysis, but also essays, letters and ideas from readers around the world. Engineers, students, artists, collectors and dreamers all have a place here.
What you will find here
- Stories about exploration, the Moon and Mars, the space economy and how AI is changing what is possible.
- Shorts — quick, playful videos that imagine the cosmos.
- The Mineral Showcase, where you can show off your meteorites and space rocks and talk with fellow collectors.
- Voices — contributed essays from our community.
Write the future with us
If you have an idea about how humanity should explore space, build new homes beyond Earth or care for life on this planet while we do it, send it to us. Every contribution is read by an editor. The best ones will be published under your name.
Welcome aboard. Look up.
